ERIC WILLIAMS
Martial Arts Experience:
•The first Houstonian to achieve the rank of Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
•The 2nd American ever to win a World Title in the Black Belt division of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
•Eric has won 3 gold and 2 silver medals in the Int’l Masters BJJ Championships in Brazil
•As a Black Belt, Eric is 12-2 in international competition.
•7x Junior National wrestling Champion, holding titles in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
•4th place in the Junior World Championships in Greco-Roman.
•Selected to the Olympic 200 Project for freestyle wrestling.
•A passionate student of the martial arts, Eric has studied BJJ, Thai boxing, Boxing, JKD, Karate, Tae Kwon do, Moo do Kwon, and Philipino Kali.

Personal Accomplishments:
•Bachelor of Science Honors Degree, Double major in Economics and Psychology, Oklahoma State University.
•10 years experience working with at-risk children and teenagers in a counseling and mental health treatment facility.

Eric's pursuit of perfection makes him one of the most technical BJJ practitioners in the world. He will make sure you understand exactly why you do something and make sure you get it not 70% right, or 95% right. He expects 100% perfection from his students. A class or private with Eric is a brain overload of technique that will make you so proficient that your understanding of the martial art he teaches you for the day will make the light bulbs go off. Eric's 2 children also train BJJ at Elite Mixed Martial Arts.
